The cable company doesn't trim trees, nor does the phone co.
Oct 06, The first being a dead tree on my property entwined with what i believe are 3 comcast trunk lines on a comcast right of way that I'd like to remove. The second being i a tree I'll be cutting down with a power and comcast service cable in. Mar 18, The trees are in the right of way. I was told by the power company it would be the cable companies responsibility due to the interfering trees being lower than the electric lines.
I don't think I've ever heard of a homeowner being responsible for tree trimming in the right of way. Dec 18, The first call is to PSE&G. They may look at it and send it over to Verizon or Comcast.
You do not want to be messing with a wet tree branch hanging on a utility cable. Hi, Comcast"trimmed" a beautiful spruce tree next to my house; it now has a five foot wide by six foot tall hole that is very visible from the street. I feel they should take down the tree and pay me to replace itany suggestions on how to go about this problem?
Thanks, sa. Jul 03, The easement at my back property line has poles with electric and utility lines. A tree in my back yard has two large branches resting on the phone/TV cables. Electric lines that are located some distance above the utility cables were cleared a couple of years ago by the power company's tree trimming.
